San Bernardino, CA has become the 15th California county to redact DOB off of their public access terminal and online portal. With Governor Gavin Newsome vetoing SB1262, the optimism that California's redaction issues will be solved sooner than later is lost amongst not only county court supervisors, but by CRA's from the background screening industry. With the veto stamped, every county court in California will now be under increased pressure and scrutiny to enforce the mandate set forth by the California's Supreme Court ruling in the Hamrick case.
